About Us
We are from Hwa Chong Institution
We are a group of Secondary Two students from Hwa Chong Institution and we aim to raise awareness about the forgotten historical places, urban legends and folklores of Singapore.
As Singapore is rapidly modernizing, there are more and more of historical places, urban legends, folklores, superstitions being lost.
These are often closely linked to parts of our culture and history. It is important that this is not forgotten.
Through a comprehensive and interesting resource on urban legends, folklores, superstitions & forgotten historical buildings in Singapore we hope to foster deeper cultural and historical understanding of Singapore and inculcate a stronger sense of place and belonging for Singaporean residents.
Our target audience is the younger generation who is interested in learning about Singapore’s urban legends, myths and historical places.
